LEGEND UP RETREAT TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Booking and Payment
    • Full Payment: Full payment is required upon acceptance of your application to secure your spot in the retreat. Payment must be made within 1 day of receiving the acceptance notification.
    • Payment Methods: Payments can be made via credit card, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Cash-App or bank transfer. Details will be provided upon acceptance of your application.
  1. Cancellation and Refund Policy
    • Cancellations by Participant:
      • If you cancel more than 30 days before the retreat start date, you may transfer your spot to another person or apply your payment toward a future retreat within one year.
      • If you cancel within 15 days of the retreat start date, no refund or transfer will be offered, and the full payment will be forfeited.
    • Cancellations by Organizer:
      • In the unlikely event that the retreat is canceled by the organizer, all payments will be transferred to a future event within one year.
      • The organizer is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by participants, such as airfare or other travel-related costs.
  1. Travel and Insurance
    • Travel Arrangements: Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from the retreat location. The organizer is not responsible for any travel delays, cancellations, or disruptions.
    • Travel Insurance: It is strongly recommended that participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal liability.
  1. Health and Safety
    • Medical Information: Participants must inform the organizer of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions in advance. This information will be used to ensure your safety and well-being during the retreat.
    • Health and Fitness: Participants must ensure that they are in suitable physical and mental health to participate in the retreat activities. The organizer reserves the right to decline participation to anyone who may be at risk of harm due to health concerns.
    • Liability Waiver: Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver before attending the retreat, releasing the organizer from any claims related to injury, illness, or loss during the retreat.
  1. Code of Conduct
    • Respectful Behavior: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner toward other participants, staff, and the local community. Any behavior deemed disruptive, harmful, or inappropriate may result in dismissal from the retreat without refund.
    • Compliance with Local Laws: Participants must comply with the laws and customs of the host country. Any legal issues or violations will be the sole responsibility of the participant.
  1. Photography and Media Release
    • Consent to Photography: By attending the retreat, participants consent to being photographed or filmed by the organizer for promotional purposes. These images and videos may be used on social media, the organizer’s website, or other marketing materials.
    • Opt-Out: Participants who do not wish to be photographed or filmed must inform the organizer in writing before the start of the retreat.
  1. Changes to the Itinerary
    • Organizer’s Right to Modify: The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the retreat itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, guest speaker availability, or other factors beyond the organizer’s control.
    • No Refund for Itinerary Changes: No refunds will be given for changes to the itinerary that are made to ensure the safety and quality of the retreat experience.
  1. Force Majeure
    • Unforeseen Events: The organizer is not liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations under these terms due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, pandemics, or government restrictions.
    • Participant’s Responsibility: In the event of a force majeure, participants are responsible for any additional costs incurred, such as extended accommodation or travel expenses.
  1. Privacy Policy
    • Data Collection: The organizer will collect and use participants’ personal information solely for the purpose of administering the retreat and providing services. This information will not be shared with third parties without the participant’s consent.
    • Data Security: The organizer will take reasonable measures to protect participants’ personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
  1. Prohibited Use of Drugs:
    • No Drug Use: The use, possession, or distribution of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited during the retreat. Participants found to be in violation of this policy will be immediately dismissed from the retreat without refund.
    • Prescription Medications: Participants are permitted to use prescribed medications as required. If you are taking any prescription medications, please inform the organizer during the application process.
    • Alcohol Use: Responsible alcohol consumption is allowed in designated areas. However, participants are expected to maintain respectful behavior at all times. Any behavior resulting from excessive alcohol use that disrupts the retreat or causes harm will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from the retreat.
    • Local Laws: Participants must comply with Indonesian laws regarding the use of substances. The organizer is not responsible for any legal issues resulting from violations of local laws.
  1. Acceptance of Terms
    • Agreement: By submitting an application and making payment for the retreat, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
    • Binding Contract: These terms and conditions form a binding contract between the participant and the organizer upon acceptance of the participant’s application and receipt of full payment.
